Near the storks station Eibersthiem a couple of storks (Ciconia ciconia) seemed to enjoy the view from their high nest …
Vlak nadat ik de bovenstaande foto had gemaakt, steeg één van de twee op …
Just after I took the photo above, one of the storks took flight …
De andere ooievaar bleef rustig achter op het nest …
The other stork stayed calm on the nest …

Wonderful summer sky, and such a lovely landscape! And – I am envious of the beautiful shots of the storks! They are not so common in Norway. But this winter a lonely stork survived in a town in Norway – during a very cold winter! He was all over the news every week – and when spring came, he flew away! Tough guy!

This was a fantastic sequence. I was drawn to the sky and then the animals in the field in the first shot and was subsequently amazed at the fabulous shots of the birds in the rest of the photographs. Great shots.

Heel mooi !
Zowel de andschapfoto met mooie lucht maar de ooievaar tijdens zijn vlucht is mijn favoriet.
Ze zijn zo mooi die vogels.
